Young Guns Of The Slopestyle

As one of two events scored by judges, Slopestyle competitions give athletes the opportunity to express their individual style and ability. No two athletes will ride a course the same, which adds to the excitement of watching the event live. With the exception of Open Class competitors, individual USASA events are broken down by age group. Here’s a look at several up-and-coming athletes competing in the Catskill Mountain Series.

Mark Walrath Wins Back To Back Slopestyle Events

Christian Walrath from Johnstown, NY competing in the Catskill Mountain Series finished 1st in the Men’s Open Class Slopestyle competition this past weekend at Catamount.

With a winning score of 28.7 he held a commanding 4 point lead over Mark Ringer, also from Johnstown, NY who finished 2nd with a score of 24.6 followed by Brendan Meehan, out of Rockville Centre, NY finishing 3rd with a score of 22.5.

Competition Video Update - Episode 1

Hello everyone, we are excited to introduce for the first time video highlights and results from our events at the Catskill Mountain Series. This is a new feature that will be provided for each of our events through out the season.

Our goal is to be able to post the videos by the following Tuesday for Saturday events and the following Wednesdays for Sunday events. We will continue to unveil new features in the days and weeks ahead. We hope you enjoy.
